Reiki In Everyday Living was originally written as an in depth addition to a Registered Nurse Continuing Education class in1988.  At that time, the California Board of Registered Nursing had to approve the course content before they would issue a license so that the provider of the class could issue the CE credit.  The first essays were written to illustrate the essence of Reiki to the board.  Because there had to be a strict adherence to the clinical objectives, at that time, I wrote other essays to inspire students to realize the potential of what they held in their hands, the power of Reiki.  These early essays and the three new ones grew into the Second Edition.
